1. Product features
The fiber density is low, ranging from 0.97 to 0.98g/cm3, and can float on the water surface.
The service life of finished products made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is 12 times that of ordinary nylon polyester materials, and they have better wear resistance and cutting resistance.
● It is resistant to chemical corrosion, wear-resistant, and has a long flexural life. Ropes made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene can be used for a long time at low temperatures of -200 degrees Celsius, as well as in acidic and alkaline seawater. They can also be used for a long time in harsh environments such as hot sun, rain, and wind in tropical rainforests without aging.
Ultra strong tensile strength, ultra-low elongation, high specific strength, high specific modulus, and strength are 15 times that of steel wires with the same modulus, 40% higher than aramid fibers. The elongation at break is only 3.5%, with a large fracture energy and strong energy absorption ability. Therefore, it has outstanding impact resistance and cutting resistance, and the impact absorption energy is nearly twice that of aramid fibers..
● Anti UV radiation, neutron protection, and γ Radiation has high energy absorption, low dielectric constant, and high electromagnetic wave transmittance.
The melting point under stress is relatively low, only 145-160 ℃.
